how does she do that?
An hour to eat a Snickers bar, wow! I gave it to her, watched her take a bite, and an hour later when i returned i watched her take a final bite. "is that the same Snickers bar i gave you?" yes it was; "I'm savoring it" she says.
i wish i could slow myself down long enough to do that, i've been known to start eating those things before i can even get the entire wrapper off. i just can't pace myself like that. well not with a Snickers bar anyway
perhaps this speaks to her personality and her character, deliberate? methodical? patient? does she do this with everything she eats? or just the occasional chocolate bar?
either way i have never seen this before......hell I aint even heard of anything like this before. tomorrow i will offer a a bag of M&M's, lets see how long those last.

You've Got Mail
I must admit, I wasn’t a fan when I met this guy, cocky? I don’t think so…I couldn’t put my finger on it, guess I just had to witness something….but I knew our path would cross soon enough, I certainly saw him coming…..I guess I just needed get to know him a little bit more and witness what he’s capable of doing when a situation or circumstance are less than ideal. There is ones personality and there is ones character. To witness the latter, takes time or an event that forces it out and puts it on display for all to see, it’s in their reaction and in their process…..and I have seen my share of characterless types during my time. They make me sick and I fear them because they are so unpredictable, spineless, and worst of all, when under the gun, they are liars.
But I’ve seen enough of this guy, and I’ve heard from him enough to get it, and get him…..yeah, he’s alright. And it wasn’t just the fact that he tells me he’s beholden to some shitty B movie he watched tirelessly as a kid, but instead it’s the fact that he was comfortable enough share it with me. Also saying that the best part is those moments when he’s talking to me didn’t hurt his cause either.
Yeah, he’s alright.

i've been thinking.....and what you said to me today makes a lot of sense.
you're sooooo right!
they don't want to talk to me, i'll give them honest answers and they don't want that.

Shutter Island
A Psychological Thriller? Yeah, I’m a fan! I love those movies! Directed by Martin Scorsese? Yes! I am a huge fan. Goodfellas! The Departed! Raging Bull and Taxi Driver! Great flicks…..Leonardo DiCaprio? Sure, Ben Kinsley? Max Von Sydow? Wow, quite the talented cast …
Shutter Island?
It sucked!
A US Marshall sent to a government island facility for the criminally insane to investigate the disappearance of a prisoner made for a great 2min trailer. But a 138min flick left much to be desired.
90 minutes into this two and a half hour ride the people sitting to my right just got up and left……
I’m writing just to let them know (if they happen to read this) they didn’t miss a thing, in fact I should have followed their lead. It was like watching a bad Alfred Hitchcock film. At every plot twist I found myself perking up a bit and saying to myself; “ok, here we go”...but the excitement of this new development in the story was short lived and minutes later, I was bored again.
I will end my short rant with this; the opening scene in which Leo’s character and his partner arrive on the island and are met by the deputy warden of the prison along with a number of armed guards who all “seem, a lil on edge” makes much more sense when walking out of the theater.

Awesome!
it's been awhile, and i have been asked to make an effort to blog more on this page, OK, i hear your request and i will make every effort to get back to where i once was
(wherever that may be)
i guess I'll start with something out of the ordinary, i've never been one to comment on the top stories of the day or the political climate because it's almost impossible to see and hear the truth on radio or television.......
but i love it when those hired to deliver the news offer up a glimpse of their own opinion on certain matters, and for just a few moments are caught being real/thinking/feeling human beings and not some piece of plastic reading from a teleprompter.
here is the best example i can find of late
