I must admit, I wasn’t a fan when I met this guy, cocky? I don’t think so…I couldn’t put my finger on it, guess I just had to witness something….but I knew our path would cross soon enough, I certainly saw him coming…..I guess I just needed get to know him a little bit more and witness what he’s capable of doing when a situation or circumstance are less than ideal. There is ones personality and there is ones character. To witness the latter, takes time or an event that forces it out and puts it on display for all to see, it’s in their reaction and in their process…..and I have seen my share of characterless types during my time. They make me sick and I fear them because they are so unpredictable, spineless, and worst of all, when under the gun, they are liars.
But I’ve seen enough of this guy, and I’ve heard from him enough to get it, and get him…..yeah, he’s alright. And it wasn’t just the fact that he tells me he’s beholden to some shitty B movie he watched tirelessly as a kid, but instead it’s the fact that he was comfortable enough share it with me. Also saying that the best part is those moments when he’s talking to me didn’t hurt his cause either.
Yeah, he’s alright.
